Shikara Tour

 

Taking a Shikara ride is one of the most relaxing, fun filled and enjoyable ways to go sightseeing during your holidays in Kashmir. Some of the famous tourist places which you can visit with a shikara ride in Kashmir are Nishat and Shalimar gardens. Hazratbal Mosque is another famous tourist place in Kashmir Valley that can be visited with a shikara.

Tulip Garden

 

The largest tulip garden in Asia spread over an area of about 30 ha. It is situated on the foothills of Zabarwan Range with an overview of Dal Lake.

Nishat Bagh

 

Nishat garden is the largest one of the Mughal gardens in Kashmir. It is situated on the banks of the picturesque Dal Lake. Also known as "the garden of bliss", the Nishat gardens have the Zabarwan Mountains forming its backdrop. Asaf Khan, the brother of Nur Jahan, designed the Kashmir Nishat Bagh in 1633 AD.

Foreshore Road

 

Foreshore Road is one of the prestigious roads in the city of Srinagar. The notability of the road lies in the fact that the entire road lies on the banks of Dal Lake. The road starts from Hazratbal, Srinagar ends in Nishat.

Pari Mahal

 

Pari Mahal or Peer Mahal, also known as The Palace of Fairies, is a seven-terraced garden located at the top of Zabarwan mountain range, overlooking the city of Srinagar and the south-west of Dal Lake.

Hari Parbat

 

Hari Parbat , also called Koh-i-Maran, is a hill overlooking Srinagar, the largest city and the capital of the Jammu and Kashmir state, India. It is the site of a fort, built by the Durrani Empire, and of a Hindu temple, mosques, and gurdwara.

Nice hotel and restaurant..u can get the best meals there..but the feel of coffee in balcony with the panoramic view of nageen lake feels awsom.the interiors are great and you will surely find peace.
